Club Five Dock RSL’s Annual President’s Black Tie Dinner raises $24,000 for Five Dock Public School.

The 2017 Presidents Black Tie Dinner was held on Friday 11th August  with the beneficiaries being “Five Dock Public School”. Club Five Dock RSL was excited to announce that the night was a huge success with $24,000 raised on the night.

This year’s theme was Havana with the room looking amazing. Head Chef Jeffrey Hauag created a Cuban inspired menu that matched and our guests looked fantastic dressing in theme.

We had some great entertainment featuring Christian Guerrero and the Salsa Kingz keeping the guests entertained while all guests dipping deep into their pockets to help raise money.

President Robert Ridge welcomed all distinguished guests and was delighted to continue the pledge to assist local schools within the Inner West area.

The generosity of our suppliers and supporting Clubs had been overwhelming with many businesses coming on board to donate prizes and gift vouchers for our fund-raising silent auctions and donations with food and beverage suppliers.

Reliving School Principal Nicole McGee was delighted to receive the cheque on behalf of Five Dock Public School where all moneys will be going towards an LED sign at the front of the school.
